Blue Heaven Matcha

What You’ll Need

For Drink Assembly:

  • 12oz glass 

  • MONIN Butterfly Pea Syrup
  • Coconut water (chilled)
  • Matcha Cream (prepared in advance)

For Matcha Cream Preparation:

  • Mixing jug (1L capacity)
  • Whisk (hand or electric)
  • Measuring jigger or beakers for liquids
  • Airtight storage container (500ml+ capacity)
  • Refrigerator

Drink Assembly

Glass: 12oz (or similar)
Ice: Fill to the top

Steps:

  1. Fill glass with ice.
  2. Add 20ml MONIN Butterfly Pea Syrup to the base of the glass.
  3. Pour 160ml (or about ¾ full) chilled coconut water over the ice.
  4. Top with 40ml (or about ¼ full) Matcha Cream (see recipe below).
  5. Serve immediately.

Matcha Cream Recipe – 1L Yield

Ingredients:

  1. 257ml prepared matcha
  2. 685ml thickened cream
  3. 60ml vanilla syrup

Method:

  1. In a mixing jug, combine prepared matcha, thickened cream, and vanilla syrup.
  2. Whip using a hand whisk or electric whisk for 30 seconds until slightly thickened but still pourable.
  3. Store chilled in an airtight container.
  4. Mix gently before each use.
